In Britain's land of old and free,
A new policy has come to be,
Defining lines of extremism clear,
Yet criticism rises in the air.
Protecting values, they proclaim,
From dangers of extremism's flame,
But critics fear where this may lead,
With rights at stake, they plead and plead.
Through courts, the challenge may lie,
When government decisions run high,
Debates ignite on domestic fears,
With tensions rising, drawing near.
So as the politicians deliberate,
On how to handle the heated state,
Let's hope for a balance that is just,
Preserving freedoms is a must.
