Oh Mayor Adams, bold and bright,
In shadows now, you face the light,
With graft charges so detailed and grave,
Will you stand strong or be a slave?

Accusations of lavish gifts,
Free airline tickets giving lifts,
Overseas stays in opulence,
Prosecutors' claims in confidence.

Denied the charges with all might,
Mayor Adams, oh, the sight,
Will you weather this storm that looms,
Or be consumed by these dark glooms?

Oh city leader, under fire,
Will you rise above and inspire?
Or will the weight of these accusations,
Lead to your downfall, no persuasions?
