In Starbucks near Times Square they brew,
Baristas work hard to serve a brew,
But when hours were cut, a problem grew,
Leaving workers feeling blue.
Felix Santiago, once full of cheer,
Now struggling, rent getting near,
From sofa to sofa, life unclear,
His situation becomes severe.
Mayor Eric Adams steps in to say,
"We support workers, come what may,"
But actions speak louder each day,
Will fairness finally come their way?
Starbucks workers, amidst the grind,
Seek justice, with hope in their mind,
As the city watches, will they find,
A solution, fair and kind?
